CloudXtreme is a personal Blog about Cloud Computing, Virtualization and other IT Technology or Software related subjects, maintained by me, Raymond de Jong. I currently work for VMware, as a Staff Solutions Architect in the Advanced Customer Engagements team and are currently supporting customers in large projects where I’m delivering private and hybrid cloud solutions based on VMware products and technologies. I’m interested in all kinds of operating systems, like the latest Windows Server products or Linux distributions and to deliver the systems and the hosted applications in customer’s infrastructures. Lately I’m also following developments in the areas of Big Data, CoreOS and Docker.
